Hitters T.E.C. Hitting Clinic - Sundays 4-5pm

T.E.C (Technical Enhancement Clinics) is a new training program developed by PROFESSIONAL Volleyball Coaches for Pinnacle Volleyball, to evalutate a players skill and to correct technique. We are able to fully correct and teach every aspect properly of the hitting technique. This clinic will maximize feedback and correction for a semi-private feel and more 1 on 1 interaction. Comprehensive session covers all from proper footwork to arm swing. Lots of correction and feedback.

FAQ

1) How do you make our kids "learn" faster to hit?

a) Our EXCLUSIVE training machine holds the ball stationary at the right position, making the athletes be able to better hit the ball.

2) Why does the ball need to be stationary?

a) By having the ball stationary, we are able to train the hitters how it "feels" to REACH and impact the ball. We are creating a muscle memory situation for the athletes so they will know what if feels like to hit the ball "properly"

3) But a stationary ball is unrealistic. The ball is always moving.

a) YES, in game time the ball is moving. However, we are teaching the athletes how the ball should "feel" in their hands at the point of impact. And how to hit down on the ball, rather than to swipe it. Our method is more effective than someone tossing the ball, as no one is able to toss a ball perfectly all the time. Random tosses that are off-point are unhittable and wastes a rep.

With our Hitting Trainer Machine, we are teaching
1) Proper form
2) How to hit down on the ball
3) Achieve maximum height, having the ahtletes reach up to their maximum height to get better results from their hits.

Clinic Guideline

- Approach: We will cover the proper footwork for approach as well as angles.
- Arm Swing: We will teach proper arm swing for maximum ball speed.
- Focusing on proper form and technique
- Lots of repetition for muscle memory development

We have been working with Ma'ila for about 7 months. She is 11 years old and her first time touching a volleyball was 7 months prior.

All clinics are held in Mililani at Hanalani Schools Gymnasium.
Cost is $35/1 hour session.
